What can you find here?

Use LUX to find books, journals and other items at the university library in the search mode "Books". The search mode "Articles" allows you to find articles from journals. We recommend this if you are looking for articles for very specific topics. The search mode "Articles" is also particularly good for finding electronic resources. Use the filter "Eingrenzen auf Artikel mit Volltextzugriff".

Article search: How to get to the full text?

The results lists in the search mode "Articles" features a link called "Volltext". When clicking on it the system generates a dirct link to the full text, if possible. Otherwise you will see a menu that allows you to search for the requested item in the local or the regional catalogue or see further options. Please note that the access to full texts is only possible within the network of Leuphana University. Make sure to use VPN access, also if you are using LUX from your notebook on campus.

Journals: How to order articles?

You can order articles of printed journals up to and including publication year 2005/2006 via LUX. First, use the button “Anmeldung” to log in with your library card ID or Leuphana Card ID and your password (usually your birth date in six-digit format, DDMMYY). Identify the journal by searching LUX and order your copy by choosing "Liefern" and fill in the form with details of the article (author, title, page, e.g.). Articles with max. 20 copied pages are cost-free. Please note that we may charge a fee for lengthy articles. Articles are normally delivered within 24 hours and can be picked up at our service desk in the library.
